Hi people. I'm a bit confused as to what to do. I'm applying for PR Family class, My wife is Canadian and I'm from England. I don't really want to spend any time away from her but applying Outland (London Office). I want to visit her while the application is being processed, but as I might get called for interview at any time in the 6 months, should I buy a single flight then buy my return flight if I get contacted? Or should I get a Return ticket to prove to immigration that I intend to leave (I want to do everything by the book). I can't change flight details on the cheaper return flights, but want the possiblility to just fly home at any time, obviously saving as much money as possible.
Would immigration let me in with a single if I could prove I had the cash to get home given my circumstances, if I'm honest, would this work? I don't want to waste money on a return which I would undoubtedly have to forfeit early.
Thanks in advance
