Talked to 3 CIC call center agents with same issue in last 3 days and got different answers?

Can we trust information they provide?

If they gave you conflicting information, I suppose 2 of them must be wrong. What was the question?

Hey Leon,
The same issue that I PMed you. I have asked as I moved from Quebec during the my parents sponsorship application and the application is at the final stage; what's the next step? Singapore is waiting for new CSQ which they will not get and actually I got a call from MICC officer regarding this and I told him that I moved. He said that he will email Singapore that day about this update and they will close my file from Quebec. He also gave me his direct # for any future need.
I also mentioned that I have advised Singpore new address by email with a copy of the Hydro & cell phone bill.

Now after mentioning all above; here are the replies from agents:

Agent 1: Singapore will ask you to sign a new undertaking agreement. They will contact you. You may advise the new address change to CPC-M just in case.

Agent 2: CPC Mississauga will contact you for further instruction by mail. You must advise CPC-M about the new address. They will ask you to apply for sponsorship just as you did at the first time and they may check your financial capability and other details. No idea about the time line but you will not be at the end of the line again. But CPC M is busy and will need time.

Agent 3: Singapore will see that you will not need a new CSQ and they will proceed with your file and will issue visa. When I have mentioned about Agent 2, she said no CPC-M will not contact you; it will be Singapore who would send your parents the PPR. You just need to wait and be patient.

I really really hope that Agent 3 is right but who knows? I did not find anyone in the forum with similar experience.

Thanks for listening.

Have you thought about contacting Singapore directly and asking them? After all, they are the ones who will decide what to do in your case.

I have sent them 2 emails. 1 replying their email where the have mentioned about the new CSQ. I have gave them the new address and asked them when can my parent expect PPR.

Then again following email earlier this week:

"Further to my following email, I just wanted to inform that I have talked to Mr.Boris at Immigration Quebec (MICC) earlier this week regarding my move from Quebec to Ontario. Mr.***has contacted your office regarding this change. His contact number is **************.

I would really appreciate if you could let me know when my mother and sister can expect their passport request or what would be the next step.

I look forward to hearing from you."

No replies yet. I don't know how else I should contact them.
