SHOULD I APPLY? PLEASE HELP!

HI DEARS,

I`M WORKING AS DEPUTY MANAGER (IT) IN A GAS FIELD AND NOW INTERESTED TO APPLY UNDER
0213. SOME OF MY DUTIES MATCHES WITH 0213. BUT STILL I`M CONFUSED DUE TO THE 1ST PARAGRAPH OF 0213, WHICH SAYS THAT

Computer and information systems managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of organizations that analyze, design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems. They are employed throughout the public and private sectors.


IF I UNDERSTOOD CORRECTLY, IT MEANS THAT THE JOB SHOULD BE IN A TELECOM/ISP OR SIMILAR
COMPANY TO QUALIFY IN THIS CATEGORY. ACCORDING TO THAT MY JOB DOESN'T MATCHES BUT SOME OF MY DUTIES DO. I`M TOTALLY CONFUSED!!!

PLEASE HELP ME TO TAKE DECISION.

As long as you are in IT and a Manager AND your job duties and description matches those in the NOC you should be fine.

If you are a IT manager in a company you are qualified.. Even if its IT department in a Garbage company... -
