Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the help that you have redered.

Here is my question.

1. I have completed my 3 years of Master of Computer Application
2. I have also completed my 3 years of Bachelor of Science.

Do I need to send both the degree for evaluation or the highest degree would suffice.
If I will evaluate both of my degrees . IS there any added advantage that I will get from CIC for my EE visa applicaiton

Thanks in advance.

I would send them both for evaluation, as you don't pay extra for that. There is no advantage for EE as you only get points for the highest degree.

Get both of them assessed if you studied outside Canada.

You only get points for an ECA for your highest qualification so what's the point in getting your Bachelors assessed? Get your Masters Assessed only. then with the money you save by not getting your Bachelors assessed use it as a contribution towards your future permanent residence fee if you receive an ITA. Why pay money when you don't need to.

There might be a reason when it comes to CRS points under Section C (Skills transferrability factors).

There, in order to claim points, you need to demonstrate:

'Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer'

If you go by the literal reading of this sentence, it clearly says you need to show proof of 2 credentials.

However, I have read posts on this forum suggesting that, since Masters and PhD both rank above 'Two or post-secondary program credentials', as long as you have at least a Masters degree, you would satisfy the above condition.

Nonetheless, it is just an interpretation from this forum. CIC is not clear on this.

Since WES doesnt charge extra for additonal degrees, I dont see why you wouldnt simply have both evaluated and be on the safe side. Also, you have both degrees recognized, should you ever need it for anything in the future.

I really dont see any downsides to simply getting all your degrees done at the same time.
