I have a passport that carries a residential address that is different from that of my spouse's. Is it necessary that both of our passports should carry the same address proof? My spouse is having the current residential address mentioned in his passport while I am having a different address that I had not changed at all since the the time when my passport was issued for the first time.

We will be applying a new passport for our son (3 yrs). Now we are wondering which address to put up for him.

Please help to clarify.

But what does that have to do with your permanent residency obligations?

You should really update your passport to reflect your actual address especially if you travel.
