is there any reason that it might be a bad idea to go back overseas for a short vacation to visit family while on a work permit working toward enough months of work to apply for PR?
if one were to go for five days, would that affect answers to questions like "have you resided continually in Canada for the past two years?" etc...
I know I read that leaving the country while an actual PR application was being processed is a bad idea, so I'm wondering if it might be preferable to do the visit now while just on the work permit, or should one just stay put in the country for years until the whole process is complete?
