Short term Disability after PR application

Hello Friends,
I have submitted my EE application under CEC after receiving ITA. I was in a car accident on Saturday and I might have to take medical leave from work because of a neck sprain. Which means I will be going on short term disability. Will my PR application get affected? Please advise

No issues with the medical leave. Permanent disability could be an issue, if it causes a burden on govt funds.
