Hello , i am a seafarer moving to canada. i have been sailing on oil tankers for 10 years . Are their any shore opportunities for me in oil & gas or coastguard sector . Will appreciate all the help i can get . Thank you .

Look up on Transport Canada website under 'Water Transport'. You may have to do certain courses to match Canadian credentials. You should also look to moving to a city with port operations and an established shipping industry. Good luck. Job vacancies are temperamental and come and go.
