Hi guys!

I just wanna share my FBI experience here, It might help or atleast give a lil idea to somebody else.
I waited for 16 weeks for my application and finally decided to email and follow up my application yesterday. This is their response:

(Good Afternoon,

According to our records, the request was insufficient due to invalid payment. The FBI in the US can not accept money order from Canada.
The FBI will need you to submit a new payment for $18. Below is the link to the credit card payment form. Please fill this form out, sign it and fax to 304-625-9792 or scan the form and email to this email address.)

I right away replied to them and asked them how come I never received any letter or notice from them saying that my fee was insufficient and that where did my money go. I told them that I waited for 16 weeks long thinking that i will get the result soon. My husband sent his application too from his home country and he has been waiting for the same lenght of time. So does he also have insufficient payment thats why he's been waiting for 16 weeks too. We havent seen each other for 2 years now. And we were hoping that if we can complete all the documents right away then he can join me here real soon.
If I didnt email them, I/We will be waiting for an imaginary FBI result. Its really very frustrating to know that the situation and problem will be coming from an agency who is dealing with big and heavy crimes in the UNIted states.

Thier reply is very short and most of my questions were not answered properly. They just want me to send the payment soon

So now, they were asking me to send a $18 payment again.. For me, money is nothing, its the time that was wasted.
Thanks for your time guys reading this experience.

to which email address did you send them......i am also in the same situation..i have sent money order from canada ...i have been waiting since 12 weeks....i also want to email them.....

Hi guys! Just want to update you with my FBI.. ....I sent another application last April 7 again.. Lets see how long it gonna take or they will come up with another excuse again.

Im not even sure if I will still get my PR, its really very hard to be positive especially if alot of things come on your way unexpectedly

AWWW.. Tina don't you worry.. it is frustrating for sure no doubt about that but you will get your PR one day.. lots of May and June applicant got PPR last week and I am still in the line. It is what it is. I suggest you keep a consistent follow up with FBI to avoid any further delays.

Good Luck!
