Hi All,
I have question and require your assistance.
I have made Right for Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) on the month of Jun 2015 but still my PR is being delayed due POC which i have submitted On August 2015.Not sure how long it will take to get PR.My current work permit expired recently. My employer have submitted WP extension on July 215 which is yet to processed. I don't have much hope on extension as i have already crossed 5 Years extension quota on specialized skills.Shall I apply Bridging open work permit When my existing WP extension in progress ?

Thanks in Advance.

You can only apply for a BOWP if you still have a valid work permit. Since your work permit has expired, applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit is unfortunately not possible.

Thanks scylla for your reply. Its almost certain that i cannot apply BOWP now.

The other option i heard is , Once my WP extension result comes, (assuming they reject), I have to fill application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada as a Worker.
After changing the status i can apply BOWP.
Below given Url for reference ,

Is it Possible. Otherwise I am planning to go back to India till i get PR and come after that.
