My application is process since last year May ' 2017 ,With 446 CRS points(this year 441), My file is held up due to my non accompanying child's medical in process. With new medical rules (June 1 , 2018) I think my child will pass medical.

Currently, with over a over year of waiting , my gmcs notes shows Security not started and child's medical in progress.

Last year I filed with wife and child as non accompanying , thinking later I can file for them once I land Canada.

Now with delays, I am thinking about withdraw my current application and re enter pool and all 3 applicants(me, spouse and kid accompanying ).

Just want insights in this direction , Is it good idea to do this ?

Thanks.

If you think your CRS is going to drop from 446 to 441, I'd recommend not declining the ITA as chances now are for the CRS to be at 442+ with the new addition of IELTS online tests through IDP. But you may be better off with the opinion of some of the senior members here.
my suggestion however would be to not decline as it doesnt seem like the CRS is going to drop any time soon either and you cant guarantee getting it again looking at the trend.
