I wanted to ask what is the procedure in getting married in the Island of Seychelles? My partner who is an Afghan citizen and I myself hold Canadian citizenship. I ask this because I don't think Seychelles has any embassy in Canada? I tried contacting the civil status(Mahé Central office) in Seychelles but I can't because its long distance... Also, on their government website(ics.gov.sc) it says both people need to have their birth certificates but in Afghanistan I believe they don't have birth certificates because people do home birth there? I asked my partner and she only has her national ID card and passport. In addition, it says visa on arrival for Afghan citizens and am not sure if she will be given a visa or not? Would Greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me with any incite and information on this topic.
