Hi ,
I just got ITA to apply ,I have some questions related to proof of settlement funds that I need to show :

a) I have money in indian accounts , when I asked my bank to provide balance certificate (provide balance in Canadian dollars ) they denied as its against govt's policy .Do I have to provide any additional documentation apart from balance certificate which will have money in indian rupees ?

b) Can I show my PF balance as a proof ? If yes , what all documentation I need to provide ? UAN passbook would suffice ? Or does it require any additional documentation ?

c) Can I show my 401k balance as a proof ? I have seen mixed responses in different forums ,if any one can throw some light on this subject area , would be very much appreciated .If 401k can be accepted ,what all documentation need to provided ?

d) Is it mandatory to maintain funds for 6 months ? I got 2 months time to submit all the documentation required ,since I haven't maintained funds in my account for 6 months ,what alternatives would I have ?

Appreciate your response :)
