Hello All,
I will be applying under CEC from inside Canada. I will be putting in zero dollars as funds available in EE profile to get ITA under CEC rather than FSW. I want to know if i would need to provide bank statements/proof of funds later during submission of application ?
I am working full time under PGWP but my job is not under LMIA. Do I still need to have $12000 in my bank account now or any point later.
I would really appreciate an insight from forum members here.
Thanks.

No as you are applying under CEC the funds threshold does not apply to you. It is good to have some savings in your bank for 'living expenses'. Also just put some money aside for a rainy day (ie in case you lose your job etc.)

Thanks for the reply Joacry. So I wont have to submit my bank statements/proof of funds ? Am I understanding it correctly ? Also I will be having around $3000 available in my account, would i need more during application processing or during landing? I want to be prepared beforehand.

If you get chosen under CEC the application processing fees will be $490 (Right of Permanent Residence Fees - Q4).

CEC does not require any 'Proof of Funds'.

Does any one have a sample template which I can show the teller for providing a statement of Proof Of funds?

There is no template as such but must include the following:

1) Name of Account holder
2) Account Number
3) Date account opened
4) Account Balance
5) Either 6 months statements or proof that all funds in your account over last 6 months are yours alone
6) Also must be on bank letterhead and signed by the Bank Manager

Hope this helps

Thanks once again JoacRy. One last question, I am doing CEC application on the basis of one year canadian work exp. Can I leave out the part time job I did outside canada, for which I am not claiming any points? I cannot get any documents to proove that work so I am not getting any points for that. If I mention that job in EE profile, the system keep giving me extra points for that. How should i go about it ?

Absolutely fine to exclude the job.

Thanks JoacRy. You are very kind and helpful. I really appreciate your efforts and patience in helping out people on this forum

Will I get another chance to tell CIC about my this job later? I don't want to conceal any info, I just don't want to claim any points for it due to lack of proper documentation. I don't want to fall under misrepresentation as I indeed did this job. How would I tell cic about this job if I exclude it from my EE profile?

CIC doesn't care about that part time job because you are not claiming (or getting) any points for that. Leaving it out of your application isn't misrepresentation - deliberately providing false information or concealing relevant information to gain an unfair advantage over other applicants is termed as misrepresentation.

Wait for others to answer, but possibly a Case Specific Enquiry after submitting your documents.

Thanks Asivad for the reply. I did provide the info about this part time job to cic when I filled the form for study visa three years ago. Now if I include this job in EE, the system keep giving me points. I can't get proper documentation now to prove it, and also I am only basing my application on one year Canadian exp under CEC. How should I go about it? I don't want to be inconsistent as my previous study visa forms has info abt this job. Pls help.

That was a different application for a different purpose. It is your choice to use or NOT use an experience to claim points. CIC cannot force you to claim points for anything. Leave that job out of Work history. Nothing wrong with that.

All the best!
