Settlement fund: Is it mandatory to keep fund consistent until approval?

Hello,
I applied under phd category. I kept the required amount in bank. However I need to use some part of it. Is it possible to withdraw a little from it and deposit it later. Lot of people rejected just because they failed to show consistent fund in bank account.

Is it mandatory to keep balance above the cut off limit for long time (until application approval?) Please answer. Thanks

No its not mandatory. But there must not be a big transaction. Also at the time they ask for your account statement the amount must be bare minimum or prove them that you have continuous supply say salary or other earning source.
