If the price is cheap then go for it, but dont be surprised if people in Cairo airport ask you for tips - out of the blues - for instance if you go to the restroom - the cleaner will open the door for you and keep standing there smiling and expecting a tip, even airport police sometimes ask you directly to give them any change you have...they ask you to pay them a tip for absolutely no reason..its just their habbit and its quite annoying.

But at the end its not a big deal if the ticket price is good...the airline itself is ok, i haven't flown via egyptair to toronto before...but flown several times to europe (madrid) and the flight experience was fine.

Loving this response. We have people from all over the world with their local expertise. This forum is definitely a hit!

Hi Coolguy2010,

My own comparisons of airfares reveal that the best option at the moment seems to be Lufthansa.
One of the key considerations would be the Baggage Limit (both Check-in and Cabin), as these would be on the heavier side, for immigration travel.

You may check the airfare comparisons for up to 1 month at once, at

matrix.itasoftware.com

and then decide which is better for you.

Good Luck and please keep posting, for the benefit of all of us who are still in the Queue.

Regards.
NVLN.

Thanks nvln,

I booked KLM thru expedia.com where the prices are reasonable ($ prices). The prices @ KLM are higher itself compared to expedia.com

One more option is onetravel.com also. Just check the prices there also

Hi Coolguy2010,

Thanks. Checked the site, www.onetravel.com

Appears to be a good site. Will check this site, when my time comes - hopefully very soon! :)
