September 2015 - OUTLAND Applications

I didn't see a new one for September so I've started one.

We sent ours on Sept 14th
Received in Mississauga on Sept 17th

I suspect his will get forwarded to NY or LA.

There seems to be boatloads of info on this site so can someone possibly tell me if you at least get notified they're working on it? I see their site says you can check the status using your UCI (unique client identifier) but I don't have one yet (I've assumed we'd get assigned one).

If your partner is American then your application will most likely be sent to Ottawa. It's quite possible you won't hear from CIC until the sponsor approval step has been completed.
