Hey Guys,

Can any one tell me , if file is in process so for sure they have to process the file and make a final decision.

They can't leave it without processing it because they accepted our files that means every thing is perfect with our papers .......... correct . We are waiting from last 14 months and no news till now ...no movement at all .

Can anyone answer me please with expertise and knowledge .

Thank you in advance .

I am waiting from last two years , yes from last 24 months. there are many other ppl in this forum waiting for a while more than you.
No one knows when our turn will come for the file processing and when our files will be finalized.
All we can do is hoping for a good news and a better tomorrow :)

It can take a very long time. A colleague from work got PR last year after waiting for over 3 years - CEC too.

Since there are just a couple months worth of applications left - most of the backlog is June-October 2014 - we can be almost certain they will all be processed.

When? how about in another 24 to 36 months? and what if it's true?
Blame me on my negativity, but everything that could have gone wrong, has gone wrong. Every delay that could have happen, had happened. It is that bad, and this time it is very hard not to stress. I don't think I was as stressful when I was unemployed and searching for a job. Back then I was confident of my skills and experience and it was a matter of time to get employment. After 14 months of submitting CEC application, I have completely lost all my hope and expectation on CEC. Right now I am preparing other alternatives, PNP, and also looked into possibilities of finding a similar job in the US, apply for their H class visa and move there. This is also a contender (although this one is a long shot and would be challenging).

Right now, I have my PNP package checked and ready to be mailed. After some final checks again I will mail it in days.

In September 2014, I had subtle suspect that CEC would be delayed for good. It was logical to think this way: kicking off the new EE program, CIC would likely to put off all old applications for no reason. I was also worried about delays in AOR, and even any applications submitted after August could have been returned. I was stupid enough not to trust my instinct and waited blindly.

I believe everyone on this CEC forum are qualified through PNP. I'd suggest to look at other options right away, such as PNP. Act now to save time and put a peace of mind. I have a feeling that when I file PNP now, my PR would get approved before I receive any further updates on this CEC application.

Btw, Ronaldo Cristiano is the better player ...

Do you have AINP nomination letter? If so, you may complete (i.e. copy and paste) pretty much the same forms that were used for CEC application. Only IMM0008 Schedule 4 is different. In PNP applications your NOC is decided already by AINP office.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prov-apply-application.asp

If not, first you need is to apply for that letter, submitting to AINP office based in Edmonton.

Mine took horribly 17 months to get but it's due to mistakes made by my representative. I knew people normally get their letter in 6 months or so.

I am based in Calgary.
