Seperate passport

I am applying for candain PR under NOC 2281. I am from Srilanka and my child is on my passport.
My question is am i need to have a separate passport for my child ?
Or is i ok to proceed with parent passport?

You can go ahead without the separate passport initially (make sure to mention the same in application forms and cover letter). But, you must obtain a separate passport for the child before visa can be issued.
