Sent return envelope of UPS instead of Xpresspost .. Please suggest

Hi guys

I made a stupidest mistake last week by sending my passport to CPC Ottawa with return envelope of UPS instead of using expresspost. My passport reached on 3rd march at 9 am. Now as per their weird policy, they will send it by regular mail. its been 7 days now. Regular mail takes 2-3 days. This indefinite wait is worst.
I am thinking of driving to Ottawa tomorrow and hand them a return envelope of expresspost to avoid any risk of loosing my passport in mail.

What you guys think, will it be a good idea? ??? ???

they will send your passport through regular mail.

Regular mail can take up to 3 weeks is what I have seen.

My RCMP report from Ottawa to Toronto was delivered in 2 weeks.

No. CPP-Ottawa does not process drop-ins...

plus they may have already emailed you the documents...

All you can do now is sit and wait...did you try checking the tracking # of UPS?

I did check UPS tracking # .. its not active ...

Because they won't send it with UPS. It will come in regular mail.
