sent regular application then got an emial requestiing additonal docs

hi i received an emial from cic hours after sending in the requested forms saying they also need additional docs.can i attach the letter sent with the docs or do i have to send the whole thing again?

NB sent simplified app,got mail requesting imm0008,schedule 1 ect

I would just send the additional documents they requested and attach the email/letter sent to you.
