I sent spouse sponsorship documents more than a month ago, and I didnt recieve any news since then. Is it normal?
All I recieved was a message from Canada post saying that my documents were recieved.
Was there anything else I was supposed to do? Is it normal to not hear anything for this long?

Yes, it's normal. It can take several months to hear anything.
