Sent in application 2 weeks ago, no email or client number yet.. worried

Hey everyone,

I sent our inland application 2 weeks ago via Canada's post 3 day shipping, tracking number said on route but never changed, I called Canada post, they mentioned it's because it goes to a big mail room for the cic then collected at that point. We are still waiting for confirmation that it's been received... it's been 2 weeks and haven't heard anything, should we be worried? My wife is on a visitor visa which expires in April, we need to renew it at the end of March or mid march (30 days before). Should I worry? And is there anything we can do at this point?

Relax.....It will take them 30ish days for an AOR (acknowledgement or receipt). It does go to a big mail room and often they don't acknowledge they have it until the send the AOR. It's a bureaucracy, so things move a little slow sometimes.
