Hi
My friend's offer leter has come now . But he has lost his passport .Now he has applied for a re-issue of his passport . So we want to know can he accept his offer letter from the college of canada ? And once he accept his offer letter we have heard that after accepting offer letter from the college you have to submit the fees for one year within 3 weeks otherwise your seat will be cancelled .
So we want to know can my friend should also deposit his fees to the university without the new passport in his hand ? Because the new passport will have new passport number but he got the offer letter with his previous passport number . So , can he go ahead and accept the offer letter and deposit the fes with in 3 weeks after that without the new passport in his hands ? If he can go ahead with that then when will he tell the college authority about his new passport ? What is the procedure for that ? Plz help my friend...he is confused :(

1. The school's requirement for PP is only to ascertain your identity. You can use the old PP, notify school once you have a new PP. For visa application, you need a new + valid PP.

Hi Enfield ,
As you said we have to notify college about our new passport once my friend has his new passport in his hands . But can he accept the Offer letter and deposit the fees ?
And for Visa Officers.......My friend just needs a new valid passport ? But should he also attach a photocopy of his previous passport along with that to the visa officers or there will be no need of that ? Would the visa officers will be able to know that this is his new passport and he has lost his previous passport or not ?

DEAR GOD... Your passport isnt used to seal your offer in place. they just use to verify the IDENTITY of the person. The VO doesnt want to know a damn thing about a passport you lost unless your asking for a REPLACEMENT VISA LABEL.

Now like i said in your other posts... GET ON THE DAMN PHONE WITH THE SCHOOL AND TALK TO THEM AND LET THEM KNOW THE ISSUE AND YES YOU CAN ACCEPT THE OFFER...
