Hi Seniors,

Please I need your big help asap. I applied for re-entry visa in Manila and thankful i got it today. :) But i was just wondering is there really a possibility or any instances that the embassy issued only 2 months single entry visa? I checked my previous re-entry visas and usually the validity depends when your work permit expires. I was just wondering if this could just be a mistake? Can you please help me what can i do about this? Is it ok to call and ask call center of the canadian embassy in manila? FYI: My work permit expiry date is Sept 20, 2012. But embassy in manila only issued me a re-entry visa until January 7, 2012. Seniors, I really need your help on this matter. Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

hi... same case with my hubby's re-entry visa. only 2 months was given for his single entry visa. I think as long as your work permit is valid, then I can see no problem. but if you return here in the phils within the validity of your work permit, then you need to apply for another re-entry visa in order to go back to canada. hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Oxie18, but I have to go back to Canada end of March 2012 because I just found out from my employer that they need to do some construction and repairs in the store. Do you think is it ok to re apply with a supporting letter from my employer and explain my case that i can't leave Philippines before the expiry date of my re-entry visa which is January 7. 2012 since i'll begin my work end of March 2012? Please help. Thanks

oh... not sure about that. you may want to phone the call center and confirm with them. maybe you must have applied for multiple entry visa in the first place.

Re: Seniors pls help..re-entry visa issued in Manila.

@happy i think you should re apply again and did you include the letter from your employer that states they need you on march 2012? They should base your validity based on your employer's letter.
