Seniors and all,

Please I have questions regarding academic qualifications:

How many points would be awarded to applicant with a 2yr diploma, a professional certificate (say ACCA), M.Sc and MBA?

Bearing in mind that, the applicant does not have HND or Bachelors.

The total study period when calculated gave 15yeras of full time study.

OND,MSC,MBA,ACCA = 15yrs study?

Please react

As the applicant don't have Bachelor degree and so I don't think that candidate will be able to obtain Masters points. I think the MBA awarded is from ACCA e.g. Oxford Brooks University. That degree is not widely accepted in UK. Expect some universities (very low on ranking) don't accept as equivalent of Masters, You gain points for year of study with degree level. As the applicant don't have BSc then he may not be able to claim MA points. For further consideration you have to contact Canadian foreign credential equivalence determination department they will able to guide you on that. But best of my knowledge lots of my friend done ACCA then Masters from Oxford Brooks and were denied HSMP in UK, British home office didn't award them 30 points for MA. Plus ACCA is not a full time course, its distance learning education but if it can be considered as Full time equivalent then you can get 22 points.

The ACCA is just an example in my country it is ACA.

However, ACA, ACIB, etc can be used to obtained MSC,MBA etc in a very recognised universities in my country.

I have seen so many PhD holders without bachelors but have equivalent of bachelors e.g ACA,ACIPM,ACIB,ACII etc.

If I got you right, the points could be 22 proviuded it is calculated based on 15years of full time studies?

The reason for asking this question is bcos of delay in transcript....some school agreed to give it to us by hand others sworn to send it to CHC by post(!) you can imagine.

I really want to know since I have gotten enough mark before (71) if I could let go of those that are troublesome and concentrate on the ones I have in order to submit full document.

Its really annoying!!!!!!!!!!

Its really annoying!!!!!!!!!!= no doubt about that
