All seniors,

My application status is in process ( with RBVO details)

I have visited many countries of world,( recreational visit) just for visit and my visit is not more than 7-10 days in any country.
BUT I have not mentioned in my application at all about my these visits.
Should I inform CIC LONDON about my recreational visits or not.

I usually visit out of country just to relax for some days once or twice a year.

Please advice is it mandatory to inform each and every visit or not?

If I dont mention, will it effect my application in final stages when they will request passport.

regards

Hi dear,

You must inform embassy regarding your foreign travel history. You have not lived any other country for more than six months. Otherwise, at the time of passport request, they will check your passport having foreign travel history. Processing of your case may be delayed for unpredictable time period.

Re: Seniors Please help

Not exactly. You don't need to report these recreational trips, as long these are less than 6 months. There are people who travel 2-3 times every week for business, and it makes no sense to state all these info. Nothing in law is asking you to do so.

Rest assured that this is not an issue. CIC is concerned to learn about your more than six months travels amd major states of you. I know family members and friends who had done this and now are Canadian citizens.

Good luck

Gosh....I nearly fainted when I read this thread cos I had visited 2 countries both less than 6 monthd and i have not mentioned it on the application. I was student at the time so I thought 'studying' covered that period. also i did not list the address of these 2 places i visited (cos of the 6 month rule!). now i am not sure if i did the right thing...

Re: Seniors Please help

No Sir Mezo2009,I am not agreed with your reply .You must have to inform them by filling SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION Your travels IMM(05-2004)English5562
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37023.pdf

I agree with Janfeb. The ND VO certainly requires a travel history, right down to the detail of dates in and out of transit countries en route to destination. Perhaps this is VO specific, I don't know, but it is worth investigating.

Dear Janfeb,

If you look in the London VO form you shared, you are correct, but this one is just published...Feb 2011. The two London forms I have, dated 9/2009 and 10/2009 have not had this travel history form, at all.

For old applicants, I assume this has not been required. For new applicants, yes, this form has to be filled.

Cheers

we too did not mentioned the travel history of less than 6 months... our passports is still with London CHC, so let's see if there will be problem... i hope none :-\

The supplementary information is VO specific. It is not mentioned in every VO guide, certainly not Accra.

It didn't mention anything like this in our VO instructions, but holiday destinations make no sense to be mentioned I think.
e.g while I was a student this year I went for 5 days to Paris on February. I wasn't a student at this period? Or should I put on the dates in the form: 9/2010-2/2011=>studying, 2/2011-2/2011=>traveling, 2/2011- 6/2011=>studying
Sorry but it makes no sense to me and I didn't include any holiday destination in my application. If I would, I'd need 2 extra sheets and my history would look like a mess and totally confusing to be processed.
