Hi,

I called CIC today to check status of my application and they informed that my Background check is in progress.
Though they also mentioned that my Eligibility is "in progress"

I already got my medicals in Feb(6th) and status updated as Medical received on Feb 15th.

I little worried and wanted to ask if my eligibility is still pending even after medicals( is it normal ?) and also i saw in forum that Background checks are last phase of the application(please confirm).

Please help and advise.

it is normal . most case , if receive medical request , it is eligibility pass, but not all . some is just recommended pass , why don't you ask for GCMS to clear it .

yes, i have already ordered my GCMS, hope to get it next week. But i got worried if there are still chances for application rejection and also if its recommended passed, can VO still be doubtful for my application.
