I have been asked to go for medicals, am currently in Canada and my wife is back. I have received two forms one for my wife and one for myself. I have sent my wife's form to Pakistan but it will take around 2 weeks or might be more to arrive there. Can my wife print IMM 1017 (the form sent by VO) and go to MDP for medicals or she need the one sent by VO. I read on forum that people went for medicals without a request from VO in that case it shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks in advance

Dear zulkfal,

You/your spouse can't undergo Canadian PR medicals without original IMM1017- Applicant Summary Form A.

Oh, I thought applicant went for medical in advance before receiving the request from VO.

I have asked my wife to speak with DMP in Pakistan tomorrow and will take an action after we have information in hand. Thanks for info

None taken. However, I think taking medical examination without forms has the same effect as sending your passport to VO without request.
