I got accepted in ualberta for sept 2016. Currently m studying memorial university. Im looking to change my program. So im not looking to opt summer session in memorial as im no longer to opt this program at memorial. For full time student memorial students have to opt 3 semester/year.
Im looking to withdraw my admission after winter semester i.e end of april.

CAn i stay legally in canada from may to august?

CAn i stay legally in canada from may to august?

1. Technically, you can stay as long as your TRV is valid. There is always a risk especially when you are renewing your study permit or applying for a PGWP. Think again.
2. You must notify CIC through MyCIC a/c of changing school.

I will notify cic. Im given transfer for sept session. Im changing my program. im leaving this current university in april. Im not taking summer semester. There is gap of 1 semester as i am leaving current university and transfering for sept session.

This gap of summer will affect my performance or not?
