Ok, *sorry* for posting this, i have no questions about immigration whatsoever ;D

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to the seniors/veterans of this forum for always having answers to any kind of questions, wacko or not :). i frequently needed help and fortunately always got a pertinent answer from here. This forum made me into a big paranoid as far as this process goes and i'm thankful since we submitted a well-organized application that got us approved.

You folks are true gold and i'm sure many agree with me, you saved us a ton of burned-out neurons and, why not, money (for those that wanted to use a consultant)!!

some of you awesome people are... Ponga, scylla, zardoz, Rob_TO, canuck_in_uk, OhCanadianna, keesio, ... and many many others that i unfortunately forgot (your tons of good ratings should speak for themselves ;) )

Sorry if the post may seem awkward, i just wanted to express my gratitude and thank you for existing!! rant over :P

You are most welcome. :) +1 for your gratitude.

Well, being the `junior' member amongst the list of those that you listed (because I've been helped by everyone of them myself)...I thank you.

This site has convinced me that I need to find a way to really help people going through what should be a very positive, happy chapter in their lives.

Couldn't agree more CutiePie...It is amazing how much a forum and its members can help people.

It is amazing that some people have "landed" years ago, and still are active on the forum helping.

It takes special people to have such a commitment with no personal gain, other than the gratitude of others.

The fact that you can ask practically about any form or scenario and get answers, or help, is incredible.

Myself being a very junior member also.. I couldn't have got through this sponsorship with out all of your help. I personally have to give a big Thank you to Zardoz for helping me out when I had some difficult questions that I did not want to have all over the board ...

I am trying to pay it forward but honestly some questions I just can't answer, and I would rather give the right answer than reply with the wrong one, and honestly some questions I just want to answer look at the bloody sheet... that's what its there for.

So true Ravcat! And we're not discussing trivial problems here, it's about immigration! it's such an important thing for many and since we all know CIC *can* be difficult, being able to ask anything (granted you did your research beforehand, obviously), is, like you said, incredible :)

taffy, i try to respond to some questions as well sometimes, trying to give back somehow, but as you said, sometimes we just don't know. that's when the aforementioned superheroes shed some light 8)

They sure do .. sometimes I answer a little bit of it knowing they will chime in .... I think oh one of them will answer and I will learn something new today .. What really amazes me is how they keep up with all the changes, and they just don't answer on spousal sponsorship I see them answer all over the boards...

Not sure if I'm a senior member or not, but I am always happy to help where I can. I know how useful this board and BritishExpats was for me when I was applying, so helping out how I can is my way of paying it forward. (I'm also a nerd and love playing in the spreadsheet, the London one in this case!)

Ponga, above, said it best: This site has convinced me that I need to find a way to really help people going through what should be a very positive, happy chapter in their lives. I completely agree. :)

I agree with you :) I am so grateful for the help others are offering on this forum.

I understand you guys don't get paid or anything to do this so thanks so much for your time and guidance. ;D:-*
