Senior aunt alone in Trinidad

Hello CanadaVisa community,

I have an aunt alone in Trinidad and Tobago who is 65 years old. I see that as a Canadian citizen alone in Canada, you can sponsor a relative, but my question is, is there any way to sponsor a relative who has no other relative in the country they live in?

No - unfortunately there is no such immigration stream.

If she happens to have children in Canada, they may qualify to sponsor her. Otherwise she is probably out of luck. She can certainly apply for a visitor visa to come to Canada short term to visit you.
