Hi All,

I just got a passport request from buffalo. my current mailing address is in canada.

Can I send my passport to Buffalo with "XPRESS POST - USA" and in return "XPRESSPOST-NATIONAL" ?

any body having this expereince.

I have general felling that if we send passport to fort erie it will take 2 more days to process then usual.

Regards,
Duke.

Hi Duke,

Congrats for getting the PPR....

If you have US visa and you are near by Buffalo ( Toronto or GTA) my advice would be go to Buffalo and get the visa stamped and in way back to Canada you can do the landing formalities. This process will completed in 4 to 5 hours

If you send a mail this will take you 20 to 30 working days.

Happy

All I can say that Do not use the Canada post to send ur passport to Fort Erie. Send it directly to Buffalo. I had mailed my passport last week
to Fort Erie. Canada post Cannot confirm that if the package was delivered. The tracking shows last processed at stoney creek, and nothing
after. I think they have lost my package. :(

Well, I had hell of a time with Canada post as well but I guess that's all you can use atleast for Buffalo Office. In the letter they sent it clearly states that do not use FEDEX OR UPS. But i would be surprised if someone uses that with return envelope, they would still ignore it.
And Duke, I don't understand hoe can you use one way(going to Buffalo) an express post US and for return National post(Canada). The return should be express post US too if you decide to send it to Buffalo. And I would sugggest that just send it to Fort Erie........You can use a little quicker service PRIORITY but It's Canada post and they wills till screw you over.

Good Luck.
