Hey all :),

Since I am noticing that a lot of people that filed their app. around the same time as me are having to send their passport, I was wondering if some of you know more then me ;)

Does any one know what exactly you have to send your passport to them?
Is it one of the final stages of the visa processing?
Does this mean I got my interview waived?

Haha quite a few questions, but I couldn't find information about it and I like to know everything ;D

You want to wait until they request your passport, and then they will give you the details on where to send your passport.

Becka the reason they request your passport is to afix your visa to it as it would have stated in the letter you received. No interveiw, you're approved.

Thanks J2M and KelKel, for your replies.

@ J2M yes I did get a letter where they asked for me to send my passport.
@ KelKel, yes that is the weird thing, I would have figured they would explain it in the letter, but they simply just requested to pay the PRfee to Mississauga (that was already payed at the beginning, so skip that ;)) and to send my passport to Berlin.

But thanks..! That is good news then :)

Hope all the remaining people of the October threat get their PPR soon too! (and everyone else too of course! :D)

Oh, I'm sorry I mis-understood. Well then that is AWESOME, congratts!!! although I am a bit jealous! Keep us all posted

It's hard to say... some embassies, (such as Delhi), request the passport first, then review your file and then waive or request your interview. While others, ask for the passport when they are getting ready to issue the visa.

Yes but they wouldn't request the RFPR fee if an interview was going to be convoked. They won't ask you to pay money unless a positive decision has been made.

Delhi does things differently than, because before they start processing they send ppt request, ask for the fees and a police check if not sent. The letter stayes that it doesnt mean you will get ur visa, but this is the beginning of processing for them. Until everything is received including payment, they dont move. I know its useless to as for RPRF before a positive decision because then theres the refund issue but they do it.

Thank you all for your replies..! :)

I will hope for the best, either way there is progress and progress is good ;)

Have a great day every one :-*
