sending passport and photo for visa stamp

I am sending my passport tomorrow for visa stamp,i have quick question,on the photo that i am going to send, can i write date taken by myself or photograph er need to write that.Please share your experience.

Hi soop,

You can write date by yourself. It is acceptable.
(in Canada the photographer have to stamp at back with date and their shop details)
