Anybody got any brilliant ideas as to how we ensure that all of our papers stay together?? We were told not to bind anything, staple or use elastic bands.

Want to get this posted ASAP - any help VERY much appreciated!!!

I didn't bind anything. I made sure everything was in the order of the checklists and put it in an envelope. I used a big paperclip for the photos, but that was it. It must have been ok because we've completed everything and are just waiting for our property to sell in the UK so we can leave !

Ok thanks CanookNic - we put it in two big bulldog clips (couldn't find one big enough) because I don't want them to misplace anything!!

Fingers, toes and everything else crossed!!!!!

hi

What i did was organize both of our application individually...name and tag all the application so that CIC want have a difficult time going through them, and put my wifes application in one big envelop and mine in another.I did too much i guess i made my tags and printed them out... :P.

P.S its better to organize everything according to the check list. Good Luck

Hi All,

Just wondering in terms of putting all the paperwork together, did most people include two copies of key documents, one in the sponor's application and one in the immigrants? I understand everything gets sent together so I'm wondering if it's necessary to include two copies of items such as bank statements, rental lease, photos etc? If you only included one copy, whose application did you include this information in as both require 'proof of common-law relationship'?

Many thanks.

I put everything in the order it was asked for on the check list. I used dividers for each section with them labled and then paper clipped each section together. Put it all in order and then put a big elsatic around it before putting in the envelope to mail. We only included one copy of everything they asked for.
