Hi all, posting a question in hope someone can help in light of past experience.

My parents-in-laws were sponsored under family sponsorship and Immigration has asked for their medical examination report and criminal record check. They have been in Canada in the past for over 6 months in the past so they need police certificate from here and back home.

Question:
1) Does immigration accept if all the certificates are scanned and send by email to given email address? or they need to be original ones send by mail?
2) Is it the final step towards having COPR?
3) Immigration gave 30 days time to prepare all results (criminal check from 2 countries and medical examination). The time is short if original needs to send by mail. What if we get late by days or weeks to send all the papers?
