She must updated visa office , quoting her application/file number for which she submitted and got PER regarding change of marital status supported by relevant documents... Update visa office immediately...

As she received PER on 5th of November her application is most likely in CIO and will be sent to designated visa office in the nearest future. I think you should wait for AOR from the local visa office and then inform them of this changes. They will require all the forms updated where family members and personal history are involved. Also prepare all relevant supporting documents (e.g. marriage certificate).

In addition, local visa office might require extra evidence so that they would be sure it's not a fraud and your relations are genuine.

Did you submit a second application just because you got married? All you had to do is update the marital status to VO and send documents to add the spouse to the application after receiving the PER. If the second application hasn't reached CIC, you might still be able to ask the courier service to reroute or turn it back.

CIC does not recommend sending multiple applications for the same NOC, so I am not sure what the consequence is going to be. But since you have already received PER for the first one, there is no need for the second application.

Thanks for the reply!

But what will happen to the 2nd application?will it be returned to sender or what? I dont think that we can contact the courier and tell to not submit the 2nd app. .

Why did she sent 2nd application ? was it under same NOC or what ? What was the Purpose of 2nd application >?

Why not contact the courier and convince them to return the application? The worry here is that CIC might cancel both your applications because of duplicate submission (that it clearly discourages).

We sent the 2nd application bec we got married in aug and had no reply from cio not until on nov 4. We didnt notice the reply right away and decided to send the 2nd app on nov6 but when we checked our email, the first app got already a PER.that app was sent whenwe were still nmt married.

the 1st app had a status of single. That was sent in july.we got married in aug and that is the reason why we sent the 2nd app. We already have the result of the first app and she got a PER for that. The r.2nd app was under the same NOC but with a status of married. That 2nd app was sent on nov 6.

Do you have any idea guys on how long does it take if she will add me as her husband? I think we are just waiting for a reply from the VO before she can add me to her app. How long is the process?thanks

Not too long if you inform the VO early on and submit additional forms and documents to add the spouse to the application. You should first write to your Visa office (not CIC) informing them of the marriage and wait for their instruction as to when and where to send the additional documents.

Anyone here got denied after getting a PER? What are the reasons? Thanks
