Sending Inland and TRV Extension

Hello everyone,

When i sent my inland application together with OWP in CPC Mississauga, after 3 days i sent my application of my tourist duration of stay extension in CPC Vegreville. Few weeks ago i've got my AOR (Sent to my wife/Sponsor's email). Now Still waiting for the tourist extension (paper application).

My question is will it affect on my current inland application with OWP?

I applied for extension just to be sure if in case they going to return my application i still have legal status.

We did the same as you and we actually received the OWP (4 months) before the Extension (5 months). The date for the extension expired sooner than the OWP, but we were informed that work permit trumps the extension. We didn't really need to send an application for the extension as everything worked out, but for the sake of worrying if there was an error in our inland application we wanted to be sure.
