Hi all,

I am sponsoring my spouse from within Canada. We just sent our application in mid December 2015. Unfortunately we were forced to send it in without the up-front medical papers because we somehow misplaced them during the move to Canada and, after looking everywhere we could, couldn't seem to find them. Well, we found them this morning...

So my question is: Would it be possible to submit this one even though we didn't include it in our package? Could we just contact them once they give us confirmation that they started the process and submit it then?

On another note: When do people usually receive confirmation that their package has been processed? According to our mail tracking information it was delivered on the 21st of Dec but we haven't heard back.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Most people applying inland don't do the medical before submitting, as it will most definitely expire before the app is finished processing.

There is no point in submitting it until you have a file number to go with your app.

AOR for inland generally takes several months.

Hey, thanks a lot for the response. AOR... does that mean when they get around to registering it and giving us a case number?
