Hi,
My wife (Canadian citizen) and I (US citizen) got married in September.
We're filling out the paper work for the family class visa right now, specifically the section about documentary evidence of financial support between you and your sponsor/shared expenses.
I live and work in the US, however spend about 5-6 days a month in Vancouver with my wife. We share an apartment that has both our names on the lease, even though I don't really live there. I pay all the expenses myself.
I want to know if I can use the lease as proof or if that will just confuse immigration because I'm applying as out-of-Canada and not living together.
Thoughts?
