What will happen if i send a second application to CIC in case the first application gets returned due to a mistake i made on one of the forms. Can i send a second application before the first one is returned.

If the first application is NOT returned for any reason, will i be charged twice or can i request to cancel the second application.

Advise would be appreciated

wait for your first application to be refused , once you sure about it, then you can re-send your application.
Be optimistic...

Thank you for the answer, but do not want to take that chance due to cap and upcoming changes.Would rather lodge 2 possibly complete applications.I can't find anything stating you cannot send 2nd application. If first successful, can simply withdraw second.

Any further thoughts

First of all, CIC's FSW guideline does say not to send duplicate applications for same NOC. What the consequence is, noone really knows.

Second, you should send the second application only if you are sure that the first one will be returned. You never mentioned what the exact problem is with the first application. May be we can help you figure out how big of an issue it is?

Third, if the first application is accepted, you will need to withdraw the second application BEFORE it is processed by CIC and there just is no way to do that. Otherwise, you might be risking your first application if CIC finds out that you have duplicate application.
