Hi,

I've 3+ years of work experience as a self employed (online marketer, NOC 1123). All my clients are from other countries. While adding work experience, in the city/country fields.. Should I be adding MY work location (i.e, my city/country) or my clients's location? Please confirm. It makes sense to add my location but I still want to be sure..please help.

Also, Since I am self employed, while adding work experience in my EE profile..under the company/employer name section.. should I just put my name and select self employed (since I am a sole proprietor)? or should I create a separate work experience for each of my client mentioning their company name in each experience ?

For instance, say I worked for Clients A,B,C and D from 2014 to 2017.. now while adding work experience.. should I just add 1 work experience entry (from 2014 to 2017) under my sole proprietor name as the Employer/company name or should I create 4 different work experience entries one for each of my client (having their company name as the Employer/company name).

Any help would be appreciated.. thanks again : )

The work location will be where you are based at. If your work location was in different places, it would mean you were physically present at those places and you would need to provide PCCs for each.

pccs are only of course required if the OP spent 6 months or more in any one country since 18 years old. The OP implies being a web based marketeer so assume maybe never actually works or visits clients in the other countries just based in home country.

Thanks! Yes, Since I am a web based marketer I basically work from my location (India) and never visit clients in other countries. So, I'll fill India as the location. Thanks again.

Can you please answer the other question in the thread? I really need that one answer to submit my EE profile. Should I mention my experience as a single entry with the company/employer name being my firm name (my name in my case, sole proprietor) or should I make separate work experience entries, one for each of my client?
