Hi folks,
For some one who is self employed and running a small IT services with less than 3 workers, the company has been existing on ground since 2007, got registered in 2011 as a business enterprise and fully incorporated this year with a different name.

Can I provide a submit a reference letter on my behalf as an applicant with my company letter head signed by me?
Is it necessary to provide the business name certificate along with the certificate of incorporation?
Am eligible to
obtain points under work experiences as self employed?

Please I need an expert advise on this or if you fall in my category what is the required thing to do?

As far as i know, you will need to show all of the above + statements and references from clients covering most of the period you are claiming points for.

This is what OINP states about self-employment, so I assume it might be similar for CIC as well.

If you are or have been self-employed, provide copies of all the following documentation for periods of self-employment, if available
 Business/company registration documents;
 Proof of business conducted with clients (i.e., invoices, bills, and client references);
 Balance sheets;
 Income tax returns;
 T4A Statements (if self-employed in Canada); AND
 Proof of license to practice if you are a private practitioner in a regulated occupation.

Hope it helps.
