Selected no for mother’s maiden name

I have submitted my app for pgp2021, while filling imm008 form where its asks for have u used any other name my father selected no for my mother’s details as he thought it was first name they were asking but her surname was different before marriage.

Even though there aren’t any documents which specifies this old surname or uses it but is there any way with which I can rectify this mistake and tell ircc about the old name?

this is not a big issue. Wait till you get the application number (AOR) and then send IRCC the updated imm 0008 with the additional information. Include a letter of explaination.
