Just want to ask I am presently working in hk but my sister who is living with her family in the canada is enviting me to visit canada to accompany my older father for a months. Is it possible I can get visitors visa? Thanks for the response.

I doubt that would be a legit reason for a visit. That kind of a story just gives a visa officer more grounds for a refusal.

Why can’t your sister invite you to visit her, and not mention your father? How old is your father? If it seems like father needs any help then IRCC will assume you are a caregiver. You show your ties to return, funds, travel history and valid reason to travel.

My dad is 73years old and already forgetful. We just thought this is the easiest way to get the visitors visa. But either your advice would be possible to do! Thank you!
