Hello everyone. I have a valid study permit from August 2023 until November 2025 because my second program included a Co-op. Originally, I planned to complete two one-year programs, but unfortunately, things haven't gone as planned, and I can't afford the second program. My first program ends at the end of April 2024. Since I won't be able to pursue the second program, I'll have to apply for my PGWP for only one year. My concern is whether the differing durations of my study permit and program interfere with anything, but perhaps I'm overthinking things. Do I simply submit my completion letter and apply for the PGWP? And once I do, am I eligible to work full-time while awaiting a decision? I understand I can work full-time until April 30th, but I'm unsure about what's happening with this since I doubt I'll get my completion letter before the end of May (hopefully). So does that mean that if there are no changes to the current extension, I'll have to work part-time until I get my completion letter, right? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
