I've been in Canada for 11 months. I landed through Niagara without problems, just showing my land paper. I still need to stay another 13 months to request the renewal of my PR. The problem is that my father got lung cancer and he is 72 years old. I wish I could go see him, but I'm afraid to repeat the steps that I did. It would be a very short trip. I can say that my entry through by land was absolutely easy. What is your opinion? I'm afraid for not see my father again :-(

It's up to you, upon trying to enter Canada again you may get reported, or you may not. If reported upon your next entry for not meeting RO, you would face having your PR status revoked. Most likely they will not care the reason you left Canada this time, they will only care that you don't meet the RO.
