Hi fellows,

My wife and I open work permits will expire in less than 3 months. CEC application is now on it's 12 month and 13 month processing time seems to be out of reach for us.
We are not both anxious and paranoid about the status of PR application but just want to be in safe status. Now my question is anyone applied or is applying for second BOWP. And, any other things attached on typical BOWP application?

Thanks,

As long as you still meet BOWP conditions then it is no different from your original application.

As the post above mentioned, the following conditions are to be met:

To be eligible for a bridging open work permit, the applicants must:

Currently be in Canada;
Have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within 4 months;
Have received confirmation from CIC that their permanent resident application is eligible under one of the four Economic Classes (FSWP, CEC, PNP and FSTP), and;
Have made an application for an open work permit.

One can apply for as many BOWP's as necessary till you get a decision (YES/NO) on your application.
