I submitted my application last march (2017) under common-law immigration. I got medical request last June. Nothing came up until this May. Finally my case had some progress but its the background check. I got the pre-approval (saying I can work full-time or apply study permit) in June. Now we are stepping into September, still I have not heard anything from them since.
Was wondering is this normal? I was told that the processing time should be around 12 months. Little bit about myself is that I am already a student in Canada holding a study permit. I have come to Canada since 2012.
